Make Time to Dream with God

There’s something powerful about carving out quiet time—just you and God. Not rushed. Not distracted. Just stillness and space to breathe, reflect, and listen.

I don’t know about you, but when life gets loud, my mind does too. That’s why I’ve learned to be intentional about getting alone with the Lord. It’s in those quiet moments where my spirit settles and I begin to see the bigger picture He’s painting for my life.

When was the last time you let yourself dream with God? I mean really sat down and asked, “Lord, what do You see for my future?” It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind—checking boxes, meeting needs, staying busy. But God created us for more than maintenance mode. He created us with purpose, and that purpose needs space to grow.

I believe when we sit with Him, even if it’s just a journal, a cup of tea, and five honest minutes, something sacred happens. Ideas spark. Visions form. A quiet confidence rises that reminds us: we are not forgotten, and our best days are still ahead.

So I encourage you—invest the time. Not someday. Today. Create the space. Turn off the noise. And ask Him to show you what’s possible. Let Him whisper dreams into your heart and awaken things you thought were long gone.

You are never too old, too late, or too far behind to start imagining again. God’s got something beautiful in store for your future… but sometimes, you have to get still enough to see it.
